LEGAL
Legal & copyright notes
ArchForm Library is a personal, non-commercial project. This page summarizes how assets are intended to be used and where responsibilities lie. It is informational only and not legal advice.
No blanket license
The presence of an asset in ArchForm Library does not mean you automatically have the right to use it for any purpose. Copyright, model/portrait rights, trademarks, or other rights may apply, depending on the asset and your intended use.
Uploaders & contributors
Only upload or provide assets if you hold the necessary rights (for example, copyright and any required permissions from depicted people) or if the material is clearly licensed for this kind of reuse. By contributing assets, you confirm that your contribution does not infringe the rights of third parties.
Downloaders & users
If you download and use assets from ArchForm Library, you are responsible for ensuring that your specific use (for example commercial, editorial, academic, or client work) complies with applicable law and any relevant licenses. Always check whether an asset is appropriate and permitted for your context.
Notice-and-takedown
If you believe that an asset in ArchForm Library infringes your rights, you can request its removal. Please provide:
- A link (URL) to the asset in question
- A short description of the rights you claim are infringed (for example, copyright, portrait rights)
- Contact details where you can be reached
Valid reports will be reviewed and, where appropriate, the asset will be removed within a reasonable timeframe.
For now, you can send such a request via the contact details associated with the project owner (for example, the GitHub or hosting account used to deploy this site).
Jurisdiction & legal advice
ArchForm Library is developed with use in Belgium and the European Union in mind, and is intended to follow common patterns such as notice-and-takedown. However, this page is not legal advice. If you need certainty about your rights or obligations, you should consult a qualified lawyer familiar with Belgian and EU law.
